Our 2025 Rhode Island Rockets tournament season is quickly approaching.

Our 18U Rockets Blue team is first up with a very competitive schedule for the 2025 Summer.  Be on the look out for our girls as they travel around New England and once again make their way across the border into Montreal, QB, Canada.  The girls will also head south and make their way down to Pennsylvania as well.

They can be followed all summer long on Game Changer at all tourneys in all states and countries.

This week marks an exciting and competitive time for all of our players on all teams as they begin their high school journey for the upcoming season.

On behalf of Coach Lisa & Coach Derek, we would like to wish all of our players the best of luck and the best season possible in 2025.

All of you hard work will pay off.

We will see all of you on the softball field.

Once again we have 2 of our former players taking on unique coaching/player roles for the upcoming season.

Coach Bri and Coach Hannah both competed for the 18U Rockets for many years.  For the first time in the history of the organization, the girls will take on a coach/player role.

As the team  gears up for the 2025 summer season and head to Montreal, Coach Bri & Coach Hannah will have a unique role as  both coaches and players at the Quebec Invitational. The team will be playing in an age division with no age limit.  This will allow the girls to suit and take the field one more time with former teammates and current players that they now coach.

The excitement level and anticipation is at an all time high!

Congratulations go out to our Vice President and Head Coach of the 18U Rockets Blue Team, Coach Derek.

At his team's recognition dinner, Coach Derek has announced that he was offered and has accepted the assistant coaching position with the CCRI Lady Knights softball team beginning in the Fall of 2025.

Coach Derek has always shown a passion and commitment to all of the players he has coached over the years for the Rhode Island Rockets.

We all wish him the best of luck continuing the same level of success as he moves into the college level.
